Victor
Sheymov, Founder and President
Victor Sheymov founded Invicta Networks in 1999. As president of Invicta,
he brings more than 30 years of security experience to the company.
Mr. Sheymov was born in Moscow, Russia, and graduated from Moscow State Technical University in 1970. After graduation he performed scientific research involving guidance systems for use in the Soviet "Star Wars" missile defense program. In 1971, Mr. Sheymov joined the Soviet counterpart to the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). Serving in a variety of technical and operational positions, by the end of the decade, he was responsible for coordinating all aspects of KGB overseas cipher communications security. In 1980, he defected to the United States and worked as a contractor for the NSA for more than 15 years.
Mr. Sheymov also holds an executive MBA. He is the author of "Tower of Secrets," in which he describes his experience with the KGB and his defection to the United States. Mr. Sheymov has appeared on many national news programs including 48 Hours, Dateline, The Larry King Show, McNeil-Lehrer, Charlie Rose and the McLaughlin Report. He also authored articles appearing in The Washington Post, Barron's, National Review and other publications.
R. James
Woolsey, Member of the Board of Directors
R. James Woolsey, a member of Invicta Networks' Board of Directors, served
as the U.S. Director of Central Intelligence from 1993-1995. He is also a
partner in the law firm of Shea & Gardner in Washington, D.C. Previously,
he served the U.S. government as Ambassador to the Negotiation on Conventional
Armed Forces in Europe, Under-Secretary of the Navy, General Counsel to the
U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services, and as Presidential Delegate at Large
to the U.S.-Soviet Strategic Arms Reduction Talks. Recently he served on the
National Commission on Terrorism.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of numerous organizations including Linsang Partners, LLC, BC International Corporation, Fibersense Technology Corp., DIANA, LLC, Agorics, Inc. and Sun Healthcare Group, Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.
Mr. Woolsey has been a Director or Trustee of numerous civic organizations including the Smithsonian Institution, The Goldwater Scholarship Foundation, The Aerospace Corporation and Stanford University.

Mr. Woolsey received his BA from Stanford University, an MA from Oxford University
where he was a Rhodes Scholar and an LL.B from Yale University where he was
managing editor of the Yale Law Journal.
